When I first started learning photography, I remember feeling frustrated because I couldn't find the information that I wanted. There were plenty of resources for the technical skills required, but I craved mentorship on the soft skills: How do you direct talent? How do you make artistic decisions while editing? What equipment, camera settings, lighting techniques, etc. actually matter? How do I get people to work with me without a portfolio yet?

There was a huge "known unknown" factor at play.

I decided to make a course that would address all of these questions and empower students with the mindset and audacity to pursue their photography passion, and grow it into something bigger. I've also paired this with insight into what I believe are the subtle nuances that truly elevate photos and give them that "Je ne sais quoi." In other words, how to develop refined taste.
